From the South

Leave the M6 at junction 36 and take the A590 Westwards towards Barrow. At Greenodd turn right on to the A5092 to Broughton in Furness. From there follow the A595 all the way to the river Esk. After crossing the River the entrance to the private drive to Eskdale Estate is to the right after 300 yards, just before the road winds it way uphill towards Muncaster castle

From the North

Leave the M6 at junction 43 or 42 and make for Cockermouth. Follow the signs to Eggremont on the A595. Passing Gosforth and Holmrook you will come to Muncaster castle on the right. Half a mile further downhill as the A595 bends to the right you will find our entrance on the left
